What is Pebble Dashing?
Pebbledashing is a form of exterior coating consisting of a mixture of sand and cement, applied in two coats with a pebble or aggregate finish applied to the second coat. It is very strong and maintenance free.
Pebbledashing has been brought up to date in recent years by the introduction of new materials. There is a wide range of coloured pebble available. We can also offer a wide range of coloured backgrounds which accentuates your chosen pebble that will give your home a stunning effect.
How!
Preparation consists of removing all defective pebbledash from your property. The walls are then cleaned of dust and dirt.
A scratch coat mixture of sand, cement and water proofer is then applied as a base coat. A top coat of the same mixture is then applied to the base coat and smooth small pebbles are thrown or "dashed" onto the topcoat before it dries to provide a durable weathering surface.
